The Monk who sold his Ferrari --- IS INSPIRING

"The monk who sold his Ferrari" is a superb writing which provides an approach to living a simple life with greater balance, strength and courage. A 100% must read for everyone. A book that that is not just about self improvement but about self-realization about knowing what you really want from not life but from 'YOURSELF'. Especially for those who have already figured out what you want to do as the book deals with a fairy tale kind of a feel with techniques to calm your mind , increase your concentration and the best part being able to clearly focus on what you are doing.

The story mainly deals with a famous litigator whose rich and lavish lifestyle are the talk of the town but deep inside there is something that is holding him back and one day with a heart attack the society suddenly find him having renounced the world and gone in search of the true meaning of life. Here he finds he most learned of all and acquires great deal of knowledge from them and comes back to his world and spreads the words of wisdom for daily use by the common man. A refreshing book that does not motivate or give you hope but that makes you realize that all you are wanting are already with you and all you have to do is take that one extra step and just hold it with your heart from where it never leaves you. This book clearly defines my favorite movie dialogue "Hope is a good thing... May be the best of things... And no good thing ever dies".

The book speaks of human potentials which can be unwrapped with proper focus. It should be read with some amount of patience, so that one can compare the contents to his/her life. It starts with a certain plot where the author takes us to the journey of some ancient revealations, like the secret of mind focus, etc. We can see the author’s attempt to bridge between eastern and western cultures. He stresses on the importance of spiritualism in this material world. This book doesn't promote any religion or creed in particular. It is very self motivating book which should be bought and read and re-read, and preserve it. It seems the author has painstakingly collected so much information before writing such a wonderful book, which at one shot is made available for the readers. Really a good buy and a good read indeed. Another book from the author which I would like to mention and refer for reading is "Who Will Cry When You Die".

I can safely recommend this book to anyone who can savor that joy of a great reading experience. My suggestion is, pick it up. You will become a believer for life, not in Robin Sharma or monks, but in your personal power to make a difference to your own life, with hardly any more effort than reading those lovely pages of the book. Go On, Re-invent yourself, even without selling your Ferrari, if at all you have one.:):)
